Why do people think that just because someone lives in a trashy apartment or uses food stamps or can’t afford “nice’ things that they are automatically abusive/neglectful parents? It’s bullshit. Even DHS assumes this, because they nitpick everything that you do it you live on the “west side” (which in my city is the poorer side of town) worse if you’re on the far south end, but you can do what ever you want if you live on the west side or, even better, the far north end, because the east side and south end people are “poor people” and the east side and north end people are “upstanding citizens.” Parenting is about how you raise your children, not how much money you do or do not have, or about what "side of the tracks" you live on.Image size
